Know why foods to avoid before bed at night

Trouble happens at night when it’s time to sleep. Sleep does not want to come. If you are suffering from such problem then you should change your diet. Before eating certain foods that may disturb your sleep. If you eat these foods before bed, change this habit immediately. Let’s know about the foods that should be avoided before sleeping at night-

  • Coffee: Coffee is a stimulant drink. The caffeine in coffee is capable of stimulating the central nervous system, the effects of which can last for 8 to 14 hours. Drinking coffee at night can cause sleep problems. So avoid drinking coffee a few hours before going to bed at night.
  • Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate contains caffeine and amino acids. Both of these ingredients can disrupt sleep. Eating dark chocolate before going to bed at night can cause sleep problems. So avoid dark chocolate at night.
  • Sweet foods: Sweet or sugary foods can be one of the causes of insomnia. Sugar increases energy levels, so avoid sugary or sweet foods before bed.
  • Alcohol: As unbelievable as it sounds, alcohol disrupts sleep. Drinking before bed increases the likelihood of staying up all night. There is a problem with snoring.
  •  Ice cream: Ice cream before bed at night can cause insomnia and indigestion. The sugar in ice cream spoils sleep. It contains a lot of fat, which hinders digestion.
