Avoiding fruit with meals

Ayurveda advises that since fruits are digested quickly, combining them with slow-digesting foods may increase the risk of fermentation and digestive discomfort. Mohita clarified that there is not much scientific evidence to support this claim. Adding fruit to meals can diversify nutrient content and improve overall diet quality.

 

Avoid fruits after sunset

There is a belief that eating fruit in the evening increases blood sugar. It can also disrupt sleep and weight loss efforts. Mohita clarified that there is no strong scientific evidence to support this idea. Because of overall dietary balance and caloric intake throughout the day, it has a more significant effect on weight and sleep than eating fruit in the evening.
